Need4Video Affiliate Program: Customized links & Custom Builds

Once you are approved as Need4Video Affiliate, you can find customized links in the control panel of your RegNow Affiliate account, in the 'sales links' field. Customized links will help you count the number of sales. When the customer clicks the customized link on your website, tracking cookies are used to ensure that you receive credit for the sale even if the customer orders the product months later from another website. For example, for Need4 Video Converter (RegNow ID=18727-3) the customized links look like this (XXXXX in this case means your affiliate ID): Customized "BuyNow" link: http://www.regnow.com/softsell/nph-softsell.cgi?item=18727-3&affiliate=XXXXX This link leads directly to the product order form on your RegNow page. Link to Need4Video homepage: http://www.regnow.com/softsell/visitor.cgi?affiliate=XXXXX&action=site&vendor=18727 When the customer click this link, RegNow records the visit along with your affiliate id, and then sends the customer to the Need4Video homepage. Even if the customer doesn’t purchase anything from our site until months later, RegNow is still able to give you credit for the order. What is a custom build & why do I need RegNow custom builds?

Custom build is a special program version that contains information about an affiliate. Customers prefer to try software before buying it. They will download the software and check if it works as they expect. If they are satisfied with the program, they will purchase it by clicking the Buy link in the software. All custom build's outgoing links to the BuyNow pages will carry your affiliate ID and will link directly to your RegNow affiliate order page. Note that, when using this method, you need to upgrade the custom builds on your server every time a new version is released. |
