How to convert FLV videos to iPod

Step 2. Add FLV Video To Convert
To add video you want to convert, click the File button. In the Files of type field, select FLV. Select a necessary video file and click Open. The selected file will be added to the list of opened files below.

Step 3. Select Output Format
Open the Output format list, and choose Apple > iPod (320x240), iPod 5G (640x480) or iPod Touch (480x320). The presets will provide the best setting to convert FLV video for your model of iPod.

Step 4. Specify File Name and Folder to Save Video
In the Save as field, enter the name for the converted video. In the Save to field, specify the folder where to store converted videos. Then, specify additional options for saving video:
- Overwrite existing files — check it to replace existing MP4 files with the same name with newly created ones;
- Add to iTunes — check it to open iTunes after conversion and automatically add converted video to iTunes library;
- Shutdown when done — check it to close the program window when conversion is completed.

Step 5. Hit Convert to Save Your Video to iPod MP4
Make sure the added FLV video is checked in the list of opened files and hit Convert to convert it to MP4 for iPod. |
Step 6. Transfer Converted Movies to iPod
After conversion is successfully completed, open iTunes. Drag-and-drop converted videos from your Output folder to iTunes Video folder. Attach your iPod to the computer and synch it with iTunes.
To play the movie on your iPod, select Videos then Movies from the iPod Main Menu. You will see an alphabetical list of the available movies. Click on the desired movie to play it.
